What's new for 2007 ?

We are working on the Journeyman Training schedule and it should be completed very soon. Please(UPDATE YOUR ADDRESS AT THE TRAINING CENTER AND UNION HALL) in order to receive a schedule, thank you. Check out the Classes link to keep up to date with all the classes. Updates will be posted online and in the lobby once all schedules have been mailed to members.(This includes all classes for Journeyman,Apprentices,Helpers.)

Welcome to all the new Apprentices.

We are pleased to announce that on February 12, 2007 a total of 106 Apprentices total were accepted into the Apprenticeship Program---making this the largest number of Apprentices accepted since 1970. There will be four first year classes consisting of 25 Apprentices in each class, the remaining six Apprentices were either transfers or accepted through the Helmets-to-Hardhats Program and will begin as upperclassmen.

THE UNITED ASSOCIATION NATIONAL APPRENTICE CONTEST IS BACK!!!!

May 19, 2007 - Local competition will be held here at the Training Center.

June 2, 2007 - Statewide UA Apprentice Contest will be held here at the Training Center.

July13-14,2007 - Regional UA Apprentice Contest will be held here at the Training Center.

August 12-16, 2007 - The Regional contest winner will compete for the National Title in Ann Arbor, MI.
